The INTFC light conveys interface status and activities for ALL the interfaces.

The blanking indicates always indicates activity.

The orange color indicates something a warning of some kind with one of the interfaces. This could be anything such as an interface approaching its limit – such as FIFO almost full.

You must look at the admin/host port status messages to see exactly what and where the error is coming from.
